Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965 was an American actress. She also works as an actor and producer. Her role as the main character in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The seventh season of the show was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film roles include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was an New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) who was teacher and family therapist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was Episcopalian. She was also of English heritage. Sedgwick has declared publicly her Jewish heritage and has said she takes part in Passover seders.
